Hey there, my fabulous listener, welcome to episode 252 of the Small Business Made Simple Podcast.

Thanks for lending me your ears today – I know you have lots of choices, so I sincerely appreciate me being one of them!

If you’re enjoying this podcast – I’d love you to take a screen shot and share it on your socials and tag me in it.  How cool would that be!

Don’t forget you can get the show notes for this podcast at www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/252

Did you have a listen into last week’s episode? It was an episode with 3 tips on how to produce content when you’re out of content. Content is something we constantly need to be producing as small business owners, so this ep is just helping you to full your content bucket again! Listen back there here: www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/251

But before I get started, I wanted to give a shout out to this week’s podcast sponsor – [INSERT KATE TOON PITCH]

My guest today is Kate Christie.  Kate was a guest way back on episode 31! Yes in my first year of podcasting.  Kate is a time management specialist and that was what she spoke about on the podcast. But today, we are chatting about something slightly different.  Kate has recently written a book called The Life List – Master Every Moment and Live an Audacious Life.  Her book is about having a life list rather than a bucket list.  The difference between the two, she chats about on the podcast.  So Kate and I are talking today about Your Life by Design.  We only have one and I’m not sure about you, but at 48, I definitely want to design mine around things that light me up and surround myself with my loves.

The chat is business centred to a certain degree, but is also about you.  So, grab a cuppa or push in those earbuds a bit further because this is a fabulous chat and I just know you are going to love Kate.  Her book, which I am currently re-reading on holidays, can be found on Booktopia and Amazon – here’s the link to know more: https://www.katechristie.com.au/books/the-life-list-new/

But here’s my chat with Kate now.

How good was that? How good was Kate’s explanation of a “moment” – talk about blowing my socks off! I so loved my chat with Kate, she’s inspiring and someone I have the pleasure of having in my world as a business friend.

All the links to Kate’s website, and socials are in the show notes at www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/252

Kate does hang out in my Like Minded Business Owners group – so if you have questions, head there and tag her, she will be more than willing to help and answer any queries you might have.

So, that’s it for episode 252. If you loved this episode and found it valuable, please take 30 seconds out of your day to leave me a rating and review if you want where you are listening.  One more goal of mine is to reach more people with this podcast, and you can help me achieve that, by leaving me a review!  Thanks in advance.

See you next week on the podcast for episode 253.

Thanks again to Kate Toon and her new book Six Figures in School Hours – you can find out more and get the book here: https://www.katetoon.com/writing/books/six-figures-in-school-hours/

But in the meantime, let’s hang out on social and get social on social – you’ll find me on Instagram, Facebook and my fav LinkedIn.

But whatever you do,

……..remember small business peep, as my opening song says, there’s no point in dreaming small!

This episode “Your Life by Design” with Kate Christie is great, when Kate mentioned – “Life is too short, set incredible goals in all aspect of our life, to live right now and to prioritize yourself, it resonated with what I do and I couldn’t agree more. Love it!
